Eligibility: Applicants must be college bound, high school seniors, who identify as female and are Davidson County residents. Recipients will be chosen based upon their essays answering the question “What policy or law in the United States would you change and why?” Essays will be evaluated on creative and critical thinking, practical application, style and writing mechanics. Consideration will be given to financial need.
Our scholarship application opened 12/01 at 9:00 am.

Please remind Davidson County graduating seniors, who identify as female that the deadline for the annual Davidson County Democratic Women’s (DCDW) Scholarship is February 1st. The winner of the DCDW Scholarship Essay Contest will receive a $1,000 tuition payment to their college.
The essay question for the DCDW Scholarship is:
“What policy or law in the United States would you change and why?”
